“While many residents have identified within themselves a passion to help medically underserved members of society, it can be overwhelming to know how to begin to approach the problem. I found that the GH2DP residency pathway provided structure and academic rigor towards that passion, and consequently strengthened and matured it. Perhaps most importantly, the pathway allowed me to be mentored by and collaborate with physicians who are actively living out this passion. It has been an instrumental experience in my professional development.”
